  • Secondary education (grade in history/foreign language).
  • English language proficiency - the level not lower than B1 (following the Common Framework of Reference for Language approved by the Council of Europe). Distant English language level test is organized for those, who do not possess IELTS or TOEFL certificates.
  • In case your English language level is not sufficient, please choose English Language Minor studies. During the first study year students, who enter a major Bachelor study programme together with minor English language studies, will focus on language studies only. Upon completion of one year Minor English Language studies and reaching sufficient English language proficiency level international students will continue studies on their selected Major.

Every state needs competent, educated and ambitious people who are able to work successfully, formulate and implement the policies, and should not be afraid to challenge and have analytical skills to solve problems. This programme is unique because it is the only study programme, preparing professionals who are familiarized in different areas of policy-making and implementation processes.
The objective is to develop analytically and critically thinking public policy specialists, who are able to adapt theoretical knowledge and practical skills successfully in public policy analysis, policy formulation, policy decision-making, policy implementation in state service, the European Union institutions and other international organizations.
  • Students are studying both general university subjects (Philosophy, Logic, Economics, etc.), and compulsory specialty subjects (Political Science, Political system, the EU's political system, Public Policy Analysis, Political Communication, etc.).
  • Students have the possibility to choose their subjects according to their interest in certain issues (e.g., Environment Policy, Health Policy, Education Policy, Social Policy, Regional Policy, Sustainable Development Policy, Foreign Policy, etc.).
  • Upon successful completion of this degree programme, students can continue to go deeper into the different fields of study, selecting the Master's degree studies in politics or public administration.
